Are you insured? Then it depends on your policy but probably yes…
You can, but if the motorcycle can be repaired and returned to roughly the same condition it was in before the accident the insurance company will go that route if it's less expensive to repair than replace. Insurance companies have to return you to the position you were in before the accident, and you can bet they're going to take the route that is the least costly. Remember your motorcycle dropped quite a bit in value the minute you rode it off the lot, so if they total your bike out don't be surprised if they don't give you as much as you paid for it.
Yeah you should get all your money for it from the Insurance company If you had FULL coverage. You can even claim the gear that was worn when the bike went down. You just pay your deductible. Hope You had Insurance
If it's totaled, then it's totaled and considered unrepairable by your insurance company. They will pay you the current book value on it and that will include the depreciation. That is, of course, your policy has a replacement value clause. You need to talk to your insurance agent or rep for the coverage available to you.
Don't forget your deductible!!
depends on the policy. but if the damage is over 80% of the valve of the bike they should total it.
you dont have to take the adjuster word for it. take it to a repair shop and have a full estament done and safety check
and go from there.
YOU ALSO DONT HAVE TO TAKE THERE FIRST OFFER.
you can take them to an arbatrator who will settle it for you.
most of the time the arbatrator is on your side.
dont let the insurance corp. push you around
good luck
