1999 VULCAN DRIFTER 800
Retro of the 40'S Indian Chief. This is the 800 cc model with it's hard tail looks but a soft tail and rides like a dream. Super reliable ride.

very cool bike, i had one myself but during the lack of parts in Germany and a damage inside of the engine, i had to sell it…now i regret it because its very hard to get one in black again like i had.
Tumbs up
No problem with jetting. Didn't notice any power loss either. It took me 3-4 hours to gutt the pipe. Take it off the bike and dismantel what you can for access. I used all kinds of home made punches to get it done
Great looking/sounding bike. I have an 04 and was toying with either new pipes or removing the baffles. How hard was it to remove baffles and did it cause any carb jetting probs?
Great bike man. I have one just one just like it, except mine has the dual seat. I also gutted the original muffler. Looks too good on the bike to replace it. Ride safe dude and take care of that jewel.Thy'll never make bikes as beautiful as these.
yes it's stock exhaust with some of the inards removed, sounds better in real versus the sound on here.
nice bike, it this the standard exhaust?
