Schuberth R1 Motorcycle Helmet
Video tour of the new Schuberth R1. Full review on webbikeworld.com. Video taken with a Panasonic PV-GS35 mini-DV videocam and converted to quicktime using Adobe Premier Elements with the Sorensen Video 3 codec (the software default for quicktime).

Thanks, I'm embarrassed about the sound though, we used the mic on the videocam for this before we knew what we were doing!

The horizontal lines look like artifacts from an interlaced movie. You should apply a deinterlace method on editing step or shoot the movies in progressive mode. Sorry for this late reply though…. maybe you know it by now.

Oh, now I learned what is causing that. i thought it was the camera, but it turns out to be the compression. Thanks for telling me!
YouTube does some brutal compression on videos and I think the zig-zag lines are an artifact of the various compression routines that the video was put through. This was our first video so hopefully we've learned something since then about best formats for YouTube!

Some new helmets have built-in sun shades, but they do add weight…
The sun shade is bad-ass, do mose helmets come like that.
