How-to: Make a Custom Transformers Bumblebee Motorcycle helmet
FInally had time before work to do this. Iv had all the items just didnt have the time. Hardest part by far is getting the kids toy taken apart. Everything else you need can be gotten at a Home Depot or Lowes. If you have any questions about it let me know and I'll be happy to answer. I also have to give a shout out to tigerpause444. He is, as far as I know, the person that originally came up with this idea. He also has a lot other helmets hes done the same type thing with so if you like this check his page out at www.youtube.com Link to the toy helmet: www.google.com

@chasein3d …nice
@tigerpause444 Thanks man and NP about mentioning you. Iv been in art school long enough to know about giving credit where the credit is due. About the comment about the antennas, the helmet is a medium and the pieces pretty much decided where they were going to fit onto it, there was little room for play. I planed on re-inforcing the antennas with some wire and also glueing them as well, thanks for looking out though. Ride Safe man! BTW: ill try to edit the video to have a link to yours in it
… ooh, the link to tigerpause444 in your description didn't work…
I'm glad you're gonna install a blue shield.. that would match Bee well.. I fell the antennae are a little close together though… I feel they should be spread apart more.. just my opinion.. have fun with the lid dogg.. ride safe
live to ride, ride to live

.. cool.. thanks for mentioning me in your description.. warning: if you turn around to check your blind spot, at speeds over 40 MPH, the antennae may pop.. without reinforcements, you may lose an antenna or two.. please go put some super glue at the base of the antennae.. it'll save your antennae..
@steelhorseclub lol okay so yea it is a little out there, but hey, "if the shoe fits" right? after you watch my vlogs for a while and get to know me I think youll start to see that it wouldnt be too much of a stretch for me to wear that.
@chasein3d I have a feeling that she had other reasons for saying that.lol
@steelhorseclub Yea its funny that when I told my gf about the project and what not that was the first thing she asked "Are you going to wear it". So yea it by no means will be my main helmet
@2ballsperbike Thanks man. the thing is with all the screws I used to secure the pieces to the helmet I pretty much destroyed the integrity of the helmet. If I were to ( knock on wood) wreck while wearing it I wouldnt be protected. That being said I might make a small video of me riding around a parking lot or something just to see it.
lol not bad at all man haha loved it!
Awesome job! But keep in mind that the screws probably destroyed the foam on the inside of the helmet. Which will not absorb the impact of a crash. But you have a second helmet, so its all good.
Good work!
looks good man. very creative. what we need now is a vid of you riding your bike wearing that bad boy.
