For how long can I store a motorcycle helmet? What's the best way to store it?
I am selling my old motorcycle, but m? Like to my new bike helmet when I buy a new bike in about 10 years to store. Can I f my motorcycle helmet? Ago r so long? What is the best way to save it? How long before they lose their R? Ability to keep my head safe in a crash?

Why do you want to store it for so long? 10 years from now the advances in technology and production will make helmets far superior to what we have available today.
It really depends upon what it is made from and how long it has been in use, but assuming it is reinforced plastic, I would say so long as you keep out of sunlight and in dry conditions probably 5 years
If you store it in a vaccuum, place a laundry dryer sheet in the liner, it should last for years without breaking down the materials in the helmet. If you can have it professionally stored, purge all the air out with nitrogen, then vaccuum seal it.
