I've had helmets in the past where the entire front facial guard can be popped up. Makes it much easier to get into. This one does not. Also, it does not come with a tinted face shield. However, it is a solid helmet for the price and it is great for warmer climates.

I discovered that the vendor, LeatherUp, refuses to ship its products to American servicemen and women overseas. I asked them why, and they told me it was too inconvenient for them to process their items through the military postal system (APO). Considering that American men and women –soldiers, sailors, Marines, and diplomats– are out in the field, living, fighting and dying for the freedom that allows LeatherUp to operate in in such a great country, I can't recommend that anyone buy anything from LeatherUp. Let them go operate in Cuba if they hate America so much. If you want to find good helmets at good prices, try other vendors, such as MotoSport, that are happy to serve American soldiers.

I like the helmet for its snug fit. It seems to be aerodynamic.
However, there is a problem with the shield getting foggy
at stops or at slow speeds. I have to open the shield slightly
to prevent the fogging. Opening the breather holes
does not seem to mitigate the problem. Apparently the
breather holes are too small, or the inside volume is too small.
I do not know what the deal is but I do not have the fogging problem
with my other two helmets.
I am not sure I would recommend this helmet because of the fogging issue.

Good basic helmet, but check your sizing. Although a small fits, with my glasses it is not that comfortable, and a medium was too big.

The old saying about helmets is "if you have a $50 head, buy a $50 helmet. " While that is generally true of the helmets sold in the discount stores, it is not true of Bell helmets. Bell has built their reputation on making and selling well-constructed, high feature helmets that are the equal of much higher priced brain buckets. This helmet has excellent padding, vents that actually get fresh air to the inside of the helmet and painted-on and clear-coated graphics that will hold up a lot longer than the decals used on the bargain basement variety. Additionally, Bell offers replacement parts like new clear or tinted shields and new linings and padding so that you can upgrade or extend the life of your purchase. Try finding a replacement for a scratched shield on the helmet you bought from WalMart.
