Hhhhmmm… nope – I've never seen that kind of helmets. But I am not sure if I'd want one since all bikes have speedos and tachometer to measure your speed and rpm.
Bikers should not need much gagets to tell them that they are having fun
The best helmets that are out there are Arai and Shoei. You can check out their websites.
Also, since this is a gift I'd be careful with the size and fit. Not all helmets measurements are the same.
Good luck
I would focus on the primary function of the helmet and not on the extras. The only job required of a helmet is to protect your head in an accident. HJC is one brand that can provide you with a good level of protection at a fair price. Arai and Shoei will do a great job also but they cost about twice as much.
The shape of riders head will many time dictate which brands are the best for them. Some brands only fit round heads while others only fit oval heads. Some brands have both styles. If the riders wears glasses, modular flip-up full face helmets can be a blessing for them.
When I ride, I don't use the spoedometer very often and when I do, I know its wrong (just like every other bike speedo, it reads fast). I use the traffic flow around me to determine if I am going the correct speed for the situation. I commute daily on my motorcycle and wear a full face modular (with prescription glasses).
I have never heard of such a device and anyway I would never attach anything to my helmet visor. Sorry.
Your money will be much better spent on a quality helmet. Arai, Shoei and HJC have been mentioned by others. These are all fine brands, but there are many others out there. In practice the brand does not really matter, (my wife for example loves her Harley Davidson full-face).
It can be a full-face or an open face, but it should be approved. At the very least it should bear the DOT sticker, but SNELL is much better. It should fit snugly and be comfortable.
Not the answer you were looking for, but safety is more important than useless cool gadgets
Never known anyone with one, but…
