070426 Schuberth C2 Motorcycle Vlogging Helmet Modifications
This is my favorite helmet for motorcycle vlogs. I employ a Kodak v570 or v705 exclusively for motorcycle vlogging. I had this video up on youtube under my 88hawaii account. Since I get asked about my camera and helmet often, I decided to repost this video.

I was going to do this same exact mod to my helmet, but I found out about Creative's Vado HD. I now have the 2nd gen, mounted inside the chin bar strapped with some velcro. The screen barely touches my nose unlike a lot of other motovloggers. I had to add velcro spacers for the correct angle lens because of the lean angle of sportbikes. It works perfect.
i love the way you say "Button" xD
@taconamedpaco Yes, that would be me.
u know, that foam was there for a purpose…
same way as 13mordeth
You could always use a little Velcro on the bottom to secure it.
Very well done!
Keeps the camera lens clean also!
Very innovative!
but-ton lol cool vid
wait..i'm confused..
88hawaii? from live video?
leomaster101 – You know what? I made that glasses mount. I never got around to making a video about it, so I'll make one in the future. A lot of people have been emailing me about this, so I'll definitely remember to make one in the future.
CornStoveIowa – no, I don't sell this helmet or modifications like it. I just like to share videos with the community of riders and curious people that wonder how I did it. As you may find, I'm an encourager, so part of my mission is to take the mystery/fear out of moto-vlogging, so others in the community can try it.
So do you sell these helments revised as shown? Contact me as I am a subscriber. My Email is on my Youtube account.
that is an awesome find
its great! but is it legal? :S
hey how u got ur glasses to mount like that?
67kneil – I just used a simple X-acto blade to slice into the foam. It cut like butter.
nice mod to you helmet what did you use to cut the foam
glasses, how
i want to know
Cool…..
Next to MacGyver
Store water high above the ground in a container. Put it above a series of generators and as the water falls it will generate power. Pool the fallen water, make a series of small tubes rising back to the container and the water will rise back into the container through capillary action and then fall all over again. Problem solved.
What is the setup you have for glasses? I wear glasses and have to take off to get full face helmet on and real pain to put glasses back on in the helmet.
genius… absolute genius..
schuberths are really nice lids, although not that popular in the UK, i use a S1Pro, am on my second now, only gripe i have is that commset ear speakers don't attach easily to the lining like with other lids, soooo quiet though, i use a bullet cam myself but great vid and arrangement, i've seen some vids like this where the vlogger can barely see over the camera, your setup lokks really good
AtlasRider – you should try it out. It helps start the videos.
The tape thing is very clever!
