070426 Helmet Modification for Motorcycle Vlogging
Since there have been tons of questions related to camera motorcycle vlogging, I've created a Kodak v570 users group. Please visit youtube.com/group/570 to see if you have any FAQ's answered there.--------------- This modification is a bit extreme for some of you... You Schuberth engineers must be horrified that I modified your sacred helmet. You guys need to do a better job with the Bluesonic setup. Look at the Nolan N-com system they have - it's glorious, and easy enough for the common person to install. How about installing speakers to the back of the helmet instead of the sides?

I wear glasses as well. The helmet is not a problem. You can have any helmet you like. You wear the helmet first, then you flip the helmet (if it is flip up helmet) or you flip the shield and you put on your glasses. They don't touch anywhere. Although I would recommend to wear contact lenses. It might be safer in a case of an accident.

You'v probably been asked this type of question alot mate, but exactly what kind of camera do you have?
Everything lifts up, including the shield and front end. It's the deluxe mutha of all helmets.
That Helemet has the glasses does u sheild lift up or does ur whole front bottom lift up because I have glasses and when i get a bike i want to know how i could wear my glasses on.

I should have done this long ago. My helmet is really expensive, so I didn't dare do the mod. I eventually got over it. I can record 68 minutes off of one battery. It's 770mb for 68 minutes.
hehe I hate it when that happens. I carry tissue paper in my pocket. hehehe

I elminated that camera as an option, because it doesn't have a wide angle lens. Few people realize that's a requirement for motorcycle vlogging. To top it off, it's also a taller camera.
You should get Kodak V610.

you ought to try and make a patent with a helmet company and u know that would mean some big bucks maybe even a sponser. you'd be a made man
Click on my playlist on my channel, and look under the Instructional Videos. You'll see how I made the glasses part of it in one of the other Schuberth helmet vids. The helmet is built that way. I just loosened a few screws to investigate… one thing led to another, and then suddenly, I started cutting into it to make this thing fit.
