you sure the carb not dirty since it shouldn't have to never be adjusted but if you must just follow the throttle cable down to carb twist throttle a few times look to see at end what moves should see a set screw what cables moves alos might try typing

Your carbs need a cleaning. The low idle jet is clogged. Pull them apart and blow them out with compressed air and carb cleaner. Then re-install them. Get yourself a manual so you can get them back together right. The idle screw in on the side of the carb.
there will be an idle adjustment screw on the carburetor. it should be made so you can adjust it without a screwdriver using only your fingers
you want a high rev in neutral so when you shift to first it'lll be easy and if you dont like it lower the choke a tad till YOU feel comfortable
