negative comments are from people who have never actualy ridden one.
its a great little bike that 40 years on can still be used in modern traffic
I'm restoreing a 1974 now
I think the souless comments in the film are based on its time , but if you compare it against a modernbike it is interesting and quirky enough to have real character.
I get way more looks than I do on a modern harley when I ride it.
cb750's are increasing in price, and parts availability is way better now

My first bike was the CB750 Nighthawk. I know, not the same bike, but did have the inline 4. Though I bet the engine didn't change all that much from these 750s.

The first day I passed somebody with my Interceptor, I looked down at the speedo and it said 110mph. The top speed of the CB750 Nighthawk I had before. Top speed for me anyway. :)

The Interceptor is a great bike IMHO. Plenty of power without being too much.

The CB 750 should be higher on the list than the 916, which I have owned. It was a more revolutionary bike at the time than the Ducati and more reliable. There also should have been a Kawasaki triple in the top 10!!!!!

well, the original design of the nighthawk engine comes from the cb750k0 but there's a long road of technology between it. The nighthawk 750 engine is a DOHC and the 750K0 is a SOHC, nighthawk 750 has hydraulic operated valves etc. A Honda CB750K0(1 2 3 4 5 etc) was a great, undestrucable engine but a nighthawk 750 engine, mate! it's built like a german panzer, undestructable!

i think the suzuki GT750 watercooled triple 2 stroke should have been on the spot of the Y2K, wich actually is a bullsh*t bike if you ask me.
